Vella Group partners with Manchester charity

The Vella Group has partnered with Manchester Young Lives to encourage young people in the area into the automotive aftermarket.
The group chose to partner with the charity in order to provide advice, support, and work placements to young people in the area who need some additional help to get into employment.
Working with the Employability Hub at Manchester Young Lives, The Vella Group will welcome young people to their Manchester Trafford Park site to get a feel for the working environment, and host employability sessions with key senior leaders from the group across technical as well as general business skills.
Marc Holding, managing director at The Vella Group, said: “We are thrilled to be announcing our partnership with Manchester Young Lives. A big part of what we do here at The Vella Group is encouraging and helping young people into a rewarding career within the repair industry, which we’ve shown through our successful apprenticeship programmes. Following our expansion into the Manchester area in 2020, we’re keen to help local young people with practical and useful advice, and work placements, to give them the opportunities to excel.”
Paul Fletcher, CEO at Manchester Young Lives, said: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with The Vella Group to enable young people to gain experience and opportunities in the workplace.”
