Cazoo creates 20 additional jobs

Cazoo has created 20 new jobs with the launch of its latest Customer Centre in Newcastle.

This marks the 21st collection and drop-off location opened by Cazoo over the last 15 months.

The site in Newcastle was acquired earlier this year and Cazoo has since invested over £1m, creating 20 new customer-facing and vehicle-servicing jobs. These Customer Centre sites provide consumers the option of collecting/dropping off cars bought from or sold to Cazoo in addition to home delivery and pick up.

Cazoo, which owns and fully reconditions the cars it sells before offering them online for either home delivery or collection in 72 hours, is planning to open a dozen more Customer Centres across the UK over the next 12 months.

Alex Chesterman, founder and CEO of Cazoo said: “Consumers across the UK are increasingly embracing buying and selling cars entirely online. Our Customer Centres provide the added option for consumers to collect a car they buy from us or drop off a car they sell to us if they prefer. And these sites allow us to better serve our customers with our own service centres. We’re excited to be opening in Newcastle as we continue our mission to provide the best car buying and selling experience to consumers across the UK.”
