NFDA enhances communications between dealers and FOS

Communication between dealers and the Financial Ombudsman Service has been enhanced following a new initiative from the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA).

It has introduced a new dedicated contact information form which members will be invited to fill in.

The NFDA will then share that with the Financial Ombudsman Service to ensure it has the correct contact details for every dealership.

The new initiative is intended to streamline communications and reduce delays around enquiries and cases by ensuring FOS communications go directly to the right person.

Point of contact

Sue Robinson, chief executive of NFDA, said: “Having this updated point of contact in place will make communication between dealerships and the FOS more efficient and help reduce unnecessary delays for everyone involved.

“This is another example of NFDA working closely with key industry stakeholders to deliver practical support that benefits franchised dealers day to day.”
