Soulful Sage named AkzoNobel colour of the year
AkzoNobel Automotive and Specialty Coatings has named Soulful Sage, a soft warm grey-green, its 2027 Colour of the Year.
Developed from insights by AkzoNobel’s Global Aesthetic Center and AkzoNobel Specialty Coatings’ Colour Experts, Soulful Sage can be translated into various finishes, textured or soft-feel, matte to high-gloss or into metallic and effect coatings, creating prominent reflections.
Alongside Soulful Sage, there are three supporting colour stories:
- 01 ‘GLOW’ – a warm, tonal palette that transitions through light and soft metallics, balanced with cool sage
- 02 ‘PURE’ – a balanced neutral palette that offers a sense of space and reliable longevity
- 03 ‘LIFT’ – a naturally extroverted palette, where botanical brights and perfect pastels combine over energetic finishes.
