Shorade Training University to develop painters of the future
Shorade UK has launched the Shorade Training University after agreeing a three-year accreditation programme with Glasurit by Surventis.
The programme will see Shorade painters trained to the highest level of expertise in the Glasurit 100 Line, a waterborne system built around sustainability and material efficiency.
At the end of each year, painters will attend two days of intensive, hands-on training at ITAS in Milton Keynes.
Meanwhile, by building mentoring and coaching into the programme, Shorade is helping to develop the trainers of the future with accredited painters having the option to go on and deliver training themselves.
Jonathan Biggins, managing director of Shorade UK, which was a finalist in the Bodyshop Group of the Year category at last night’s Bodyshop Awards, said: “Our painters are at the heart of everything we do. The Learning University is about giving them real expertise, recognition for their skills and new opportunities, including the opportunity to be able to go on and deliver training themselves. Our relationship with Surventis and Glasurit has always been strong, and this programme takes it to another level.”
Repairers using Glasurit 100 Line who would like to find out more or take part in the future are invited to contact Jonathan Biggins directly at [email protected].
