LKQ Academy launches bespoke training for bodyshops
LKQ Academy has launched new, bespoke training for bodyshops to help them overcome their individual challenges.
The Bespoke Courses are developed in collaboration with each bodyshop, enabling them to target specific areas of their business such as skills shortages, efficiency pressures and evolving industry demands.
The process can include site audits, a review of operational data and an assessment of existing working practices.
This will help the LKQ Academy technical training team to identify priority areas for improvement and design a tailored training programme to address them.
The courses will then be delivered at the LKQ Academy in Tamworth or at the customer’s bodyshop.

Lee Berridge, head of technical and sustainability at LKQ, said: “Bodyshops are navigating a tougher operating environment made all the more difficult by a lack of skilled workers and escalating costs.
“These Bespoke Courses allow us to work closely with customers to understand their specific challenges and deliver training that is directly aligned to their business priorities, ensuring they stay relevant in a continually evolving landscape.”
