IAAF develops Aftermarket Skills Passport for UKGBE

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation will launch the Aftermarket Skills Passport at this year’s UK Garage & Bodyshop Event 2026.

The UK Garage & Bodyshop Event 2026 takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on 3-4 June.

The passport, which will be handed out to students, apprentices and young technicians, is designed to inspire the next generation of talent to explore careers within the entire automotive supply chain.

It will connect visitors with IAAF members exhibiting at the event, enabling them to find out more about training, development and progression opportunities in the sector.

“The initiative aims to spark meaningful conversations, provide valuable insight into the sector and help young people better understand the many different pathways into the industry.”
