CV Show announces Driven By Her sponsor

The CV Show has announced that Women in Transport will chair and sponsor Driven By Her.

Driven By Her forms part of Celebrating Every Journey (CEJ), a new programme which champions diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and future talent across the road transport sector.

It has been created to drive positive change for the sector by bringing in leading voices from across the industry to spotlight issues affecting the future of transport and encourage collaboration between businesses, organisations and individuals.

Within this, Driven By Her focuses on tackling the barriers that women face when entering the industry and supporting their journey in the sector long-term.

As part of the partnership, Shireen Ali-Khan, behaviour and engagement specialist at Active Consulting Group and lead programme director at Women in Transport, will take part in a dedicated session at the CV Show on 23 April. The session will present joint research on workforce dynamics and highlight what the commercial vehicle and logistics sector can learn around workforce behaviour, belonging and performance.

Positive change

Ali-Khan said: “When people belong, they perform. It is that simple and that complex. With five and soon to be six generations now sharing the workplace, and women navigating each of those stages differently, the organisations that get this right will be the ones that thrive. Driven by Her is a great place to have that conversation. I can’t wait to unpack this at the Commercial Vehicle Show.”

Nick Davison, event director, added: “Celebrating Every Journey has been created to shine a spotlight on the people shaping the future of our sector, and we are delighted to welcome Women in Transport as Chair and sponsor of Driven By Her.

“Women in Transport has been instrumental in driving positive change across the industry, making it the ideal partner to help us champion greater representation, create opportunities and inspire the next generation of women in transport.”

The Commercial Vehicle Show 2026 takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 21-23 April.
