AutoRaise Resource Centre unveiled to mark National Careers Week
AutoRaise is marking National Careers Week with the launch of the AutoRaise Resource Centre.
Available to more than 2,500 schools and colleges, the AutoRaise Resource Centre has been developed to make careers in automotive repair visible, understandable, and accessible for young people and those supporting them.
Resources include practical, easy-to-use guidance tailored for students, educators and employers.
For students, the focus is on discovery. The Resource Centre explains what an apprenticeship actually is, what automotive repair involves, what skills are needed, and what progression looks like. More importantly, it tells students what it is really like to be part of the industry through video content, real stories, and straightforward explanations so young people can begin to see themselves in these roles.
Helpful materials
For schools and careers leads, the Resource Centre provides ready-to-use materials that bring automotive into the classroom, including assembly videos, interview content, and structured guidance to support meaningful conversations about vocational pathways.
Meanwhile, for employers the focus is on clarity and confidence, bringing together guidance on costs, funding, recruitment, and retention to help employers move forward with a clear plan.

Opening doors
AutoRaise said: “National Careers Week provides the perfect moment to launch this platform, reaching thousands of students at a point where they are actively thinking about their future.
“With distribution to schools across the UK, the Resource Centre will help more young people discover a career path that offers hands-on learning, progression, and long-term opportunity.
“This is about more than information. It’s about opening doors, building confidence, and helping young people take that first step into a career that can take them anywhere.”
