Autofinity agrees Akeno partnership
Autofinity has agreed a strategic alliance with Akeno to connect dealership employees, customers and group inventory.
The partnership has been forged to link dealership teams with Autofinity’s ViHUB cloud-based vehicle inventory management and marketing platform and their customer database.
ViHUB pools data from multiple sources to provide a unified, single source of every vehicle across a dealer group. The next stage in its evolution is to create a fully homogeneous ecosystem of cars, colleagues and customers in a single, interconnected framework.
Autofinity CEO Andy Whitehair said: “Great technology installed in dealerships is all well and good but if the people on the ground are either not convinced of its worth or are not fully informed of how to use it or why, it will never achieve its objective let alone deliver an impressive ROI.
“Multiple systems operate in dealerships for several reasons including legacy apps, OEM standards or to undertake specific tasks. Installed with good intentions and often technically and strategically sound, they can be abandoned by the people whose jobs the system was supposed to make easier simply because they don’t know how to use it or the dealership expert moves onto a different job.
“Our allegiance with Akeno has been developed to ensure ViHUB does not fall into this trap.
“ViHUB enables complete vehicle visibility with employees utilising one dashboard to manage multiple applications. Employees who use the system extensively save time, drive efficiencies, and, in turn, help the business realise greater ROI.”
