A1 Diagnostic Solutions adds ICON to product portfolio
A1 Diagnostic Solutions has been appointed UK distributor for Autocom’s PC-based ICON diagnostic platform.
ICON can support cars and trucks on the same platform, with flexible software subscriptions enabling workshops to choose car software, truck software, or a combined package.
This means workshops operating across both vehicle categories do not require separate diagnostic tools.
The solution, which comes with a lifetime guarantee, also includes ADAS functionality as standard, enabling workshops to access manufacturer software where required without separate hardware.

Matt Hume, UK sales manager at A1, said: “When assessing diagnostic tools, the starting point should not be brands, but workshop profiles.
“Some businesses focus on cars, others on light commercial vehicles or heavier commercial work, and many operate across all three. The challenge has always been that diagnostics haven’t reflected that crossover very well.
