Springboard advisory board launched by School of Thought
School of Thought has officially launched Springboard, a new advisory board of young individuals who represent the next generation of talent.
Launched at the LKQ Academy, Springboard will support School of Thought in encouraging more young people to join the industry by showcasing the many varied roles in the sector.
Springboard was launched with the support of School of Thought partner LKQ Euro Car Parts, alongside ambassador and World Skills Gold medallist Michael Massey from Morelli, Carla Alexander from Sandicliffe, and Ben and Vicki from Garage Talk.
Meanwhile, School of Thought co-founder Julie Eley delivered a presentation on the progress so far made in bridging the skills gap.

The company said: “This is an exciting time for School of Thought as we come to the end of the 2025 school year and move into 2026. If there is a company who would like to support the Springboard brand or have a young person who would like to join the team just get in touch.
“It isn’t important which sector of the industry they come from because School of Thought supports the whole industry, but their input will make a huge difference.”
