Service Certainty toes the line for SNAP
Four Service Certainty colleagues have raised more than £3,000 for charity by competing a triathlon.
Richard Eadie, Liam Nye, Connor Nye, and Justina Nye raised a total of £3,026 for the company’s charity partner SNAP (Special Needs And Parents).
SNAP provides vital support and resources to families with children and young people who have additional need or disability.
Eadie said: “It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we really enjoyed the challenge. Knowing that both Service Certainty and SNAP are based here in Essex made it even more meaningful, as we were giving back to the community – we’re proud to be part of.”
Charity walk
The triathlon was just one charity challenge the company is taking on this summer; next month the entire office team will walk 20km for SNAP.
The fundraising efforts reflect Service Certainty’s core values of teamwork, resilience, and community spirit. This achievement not only highlights the physical and mental dedication of the participants but also strengthens the company’s partnership with SNAP, which continues to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Support
Sara Clifton, fundraising manager at SNAP said: “I am blown away by the passion and generosity of the Service Certainty team – not only in taking on the colossal challenge of completing a sprint triathlon but then following it up with a 20k walk. I am hugely grateful for everything they are doing to raise awareness and funds for SNAP.”
She continued: “We’re working with about 5,000 Essex families who have a child with any additional need or disability; so every single shout out, social post shared, pound and penny raised makes such a difference.
“We really could not be here for so many families without the help of extraordinary people in our community like the Service Certainty team.”
