QCD Revive celebrates ISO 14068-1 certification

QCD Revive Collision Centre has achieved ISO 14068-1 certification, a new globally-recognised standard for carbon neutrality.

ISO 14068-1 moves sustainability on from PAS 2060 by taking scope 3 emissions into account when measuring a company’s carbon footprint.

It provides principles, requirements, and guidance for achieving and demonstrating carbon neutrality, with a focus on quantifying, reducing, and offsetting carbon footprints. Understood to be the first bodyshop in the country to reach the standard, QCD achieved ISO 14068-1 certification with the support of Motornomic, which provided tooling and guidance.

Leigh Tymms, COO of Motornomic, said: “We are immensely proud to have supported QCD in achieving this milestone. This achievement not only highlights QCD’s dedication to sustainability but also serves as an inspiration for others in the sector.”

Reaz Mojumder from QCD added:

“We have much of the information to hand, so with the tools provided by Motornomic, getting to ISO 14068 was relatively straightforward.”
