Mobile car care app launched by Washdoctors
Washdoctors has launched a new mobile car care app to help customers book at-home valeting and cosmetic repairs.
The app enables customers to book qualified technicians to visit them at home to carry out a range of services from valeting, alloy wheel and dent or scratch repairs and car servicing.
Trust in technicians is ensured through customer feedback and past performance records, with each technician on the platform rated according to reviews.
Meanwhile, customers can also book an eco-slot, which reduces technician travel by 85%, with Washdoctors pledging to plant a tree for every eco-slot booked.
Convenient car care
Will Mapstone, founder and CEO of Washdoctors said: “We’ve set the standard for convenience and quality in car cleaning and now it’s time to level up.
“Washdoctors is building the future of how people look after their cars by bringing trusted, professional car care services to their doorsteps. Whether it’s scratched alloys, worn-out brakes, or an overdue service, we’re making garage-quality work as easy to access as a favourite takeaway. We want everyone in the UK with a car to soon be able to benefit from our services.”
The UK is now the fastest growing mobile car care market in Europe and projected to be valued at £372m by 2030.
Washdoctors was set up in 2017 and has so far served more than 100,000 customers. On the back of the app, it also plans to introduce car care subscriptions.
