Registrations for Automechanika Birmingham 2025 are surging in the final days before the event launches at the NEC on 3 June.
Early visitor registrations for the UK’s largest automotive trade exhibition have already surpassed 2023’s show, with 70% new registrations compared to 2023 and a nine per cent overall increase in visitor registrations.
Organisers say the increase is being partly driven by an influx of interest from bodyshop professionals, detailers and workshops.
With over 550 exhibitors, more than 50 new product launches, exclusive giveaways, and a jam-packed programme of technical training, panel discussions and live demos across five feature areas, the 2025 edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet.
A real buzz
Joanne Knowles, event director at Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Automechanika Birmingham, said: “There’s a real buzz around the show this year. With technology advancing rapidly, business models evolving and skills in high demand, Automechanika Birmingham is offering the industry the tools, training and insight it needs to stay ahead. This momentum in registrations shows how ready the industry is to connect, learn and evolve together.”
Attendees can look forward to expert-led sessions including Body Repair Live, sponsored by Solera in association with Bodyshop Magazine, Paint & Spray Live and Vehicle Detailing Live. Along with practical demonstrations on each stage, topics will cover sustainability, profitability, corrosion protection, regulations, plus challenges and opportunities in the sector.
Key events
Meanwhile, other key events taking place during the three-day show include the National Paint Championships, Bodyshop Buzz social and Automechanika Motorvate, aimed at opening doors, changing perceptions and showcasing the careers, training and recruitment available in the sector.
Knowles added: “The show happens once every two years, so it really is a must see and do event for bodyshop professionals.”
