Autotech Training unveils new CPD solution

Autotech Training has launched a new skills development system, Autolearn, to support the continuous upskilling and compliance of vehicle technicians within the industry.

The online Learner Management System, which supports IMI TechSafe Continued Professional Development routes, offers modular, bite-sized e-learning courses adaptable to meet individual learner schedules.

Autolearn is being introduced to help the industry meet ever-more stringent compliance demands.

An estimated 8,000 individuals will need to undertake essential CPD training before next April to remain IMI TechSafe registered and compliant, with those who have achieved an EV certification required to complete 18 hours of CPD over three years and those who have embarked up ADAS training completing 10 hours.

Alistair McCrindle, Autotech Training’s director of operations, said: “With the automotive landscape shifting towards highly sophisticated technologies, it’s imperative for vehicle technicians to continuously adapt and upskill, Autolearn is not just a platform; it’s a commitment to lifelong learning and industry excellence. It signifies our dedication to equipping technicians with the skills set to manage vehicles today while helping them remain compliant.”
