MotorEasy bridges the GAP for drivers

Auto Express has named MotorEasy as its Best Buy GAP Insurance provider in its 2023 product group test.
As the only provider to be awarded a class-leading five out of five-star rating, it was particularly cited for its price advantage and quality of cover.
The annual GAP Insurance Best Buy group test is designed to highlight the big savings drivers can make on GAP Insurance by comparing a typical quote from a franchised dealer against eight leading providers, all offering an equivalent product.
Duncan McClure Fisher, CEO of Intelligent Motoring, the parent company of MotorEasy, said: “In the group test, MotorEasy came out top thanks to a quote 58.4% cheaper than the price from the dealership, and nearly £20 cheaper than its next nearest competitor. Amongst the list of other independent GAP providers some were up to £100 more expensive, while at the same time offering lower degrees of cover.”
Alongside MotorEasy’s pricing advantages, the brand was also commended on its level of added extras, including up to £1,000 in excess insurance protection. This compared to a general range of £250-£300 from other providers, if and when offered.
