Training provider Martec Training has launched a new IMI accredited Apprenticeship route.
This latest Level 3 Apprenticeship is targeted at vehicle damage and MET technicians and will enable those already working in a bodyshop to further advance their abilities.
This higher-level apprenticeship qualification will be delivered from Martec’s Newcastle-based training centre.
CEO Tracey Marson-Holland said: “Our close collaboration with the IMI has enabled us to support many young people as they work to broaden their skills and further enhance employability prospects within automotive technology.
“We remain one of the leaders in the field of the motor industry and educate learners in the most up-to-date technologies. As an IMI-registered centre, we are extremely proud to be able to offer this latest Level 3 Apprenticeship as a qualification which is entirely exclusive to our region.”
