Industry gears up for EV Ready debut

EV Ready will open its doors at Brighton Racecourse for independent garage owners and technicians eager to draw upon the EV expertise of the automotive aftermarket’s biggest brands and respected experts during the trade event on Wednesday 25 January from 5pm.

An EV Ready Quiz will give visitors the chance to win top prizes, including free IMI membership, free HEVRA membership, a free EV training course and much more. Alongside special show deals, exhibitors will be inviting attendees to answer a series of EV Ready Quiz questions before winners are selected from correct responses and awarded with their prizes at the end of the evening.

A live EV discussion panel will explore what the UK’s growing EV car parc means for workshops, the opportunities available and how to transition into a new electrified era. Joining the EV Ready discussion panel is Peter Melville of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance, Ben Stockton of Our Virtual Academy, Paul Dineen of Servicesure and Quentin Le Hetet of GiPA.

Matt Cleevely of Cleevely Motors will also be sharing his expertise as an award-winning and widely renowned independent EV specialist, while Kevin Pearce of Cedar Garage will be offering his perspective as a forward-thinking garage that’s currently making investments to tap into the growing EV market.

There’s also a series of scheduled talks being held throughout the evening, covering everything from EV training and parts to marketing your garage business from the likes of the IMI, Autotech Training and Delphi Technologies.

EV Ready is sponsored by GSF Car Parts, Servicesure, Delphi Technologies, Bosch, Castrol and Sykes-Pickavant.
