Fernihough named SMMT Industry Forum CEO

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has appointed Ashley Fernihough as the new chief executive officer of its Industry Forum.

Taking over from Richard Sadler, Fernihough has amassed more than 40 years of experience in management and consultancy roles covering almost every area of the industry. He has a track record of delivering successful business transformation programmes, with global leadership positions at companies including Jaguar Land Rover, Ricardo, and IBM.
