TMD Friction scoops IAAF training award

TMD Friction’s technical training team was awarded the coveted Outstanding Achievement accolade at the annual Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) awards dinner.
The IAAF annual awards ceremony recognised exceptional contributions to the aftermarket sector throughout 2022.
TMD Friction’s training team was recognised for its uncompromising approach to continuing professional development (CPD), including informing customers and the wider aftermarket of correct fitting procedures and modern-day braking systems.
Scott Irwin MIMI, head of technical training at TMD Friction, said: “The entire team is delighted to have scooped this highly sought-after IAAF award. It is deserved recognition for the efforts made by the team throughout the year to go above and beyond providing knowledge and practical skills across all applications of safety-critical vehicle components.”
As well as delivering training sessions for customers across the UK, the TMD Friction technical training team themselves remain agile to the changing landscape of the automotive industry and recently completed IMI-accredited electric and hybrid vehicle training.
