Auto Windscreens collects prestigious safety award

UK windscreen repair and replacement company Auto Windscreens collected the ‘Safer Logistics Award’ at the Safety and Health Excellence Awards 2022, while Bruce Bahlaj, health and safety manager, was highly commended in the ‘Health and Safety Manager of the Year’ category.

The awards recognise innovation and achievements in health and safety.

Auto Windscreens’ entries focused on the company’s move to hybrid working, its ISO standards, and how the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems calibrations was added to these, making the company unique in the market.

It described the work of Bahlaj in overhauling processes, audits and introducing new products and training courses at the company.

Shaun Atton, business support director, said: “Over the past 18 months Bruce has been instrumental in keeping Auto Windscreens open for business, ensuring employees and customers remain as safe as possible and has continually improved health, safety and wellbeing with innovative ideas.”
