IM announces Colt acquisition

Midlands-based automotive, property and finance business International Motors has agreed to purchase The Colt Car Company’s aftersales business.

The new subsidiary of International Motors will be called IM MAPS (UK) but will continue to trade under the Mitsubishi Motors in the UK banner.

The purchase will take place on 1 October and the Mitsubishi Motors in the UK aftersales business will operate independently within IM Group from its current base in Cirencester.

Operating within the IM Group, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK will continue to deliver the excellent standards of aftersales care, parts supply and vehicle warranty that our customers have experienced and will continue to provide to our UK customers for many years to come.”
