MoonWalk ‘saves 33,000 hours in first year’

PPG has estimated that its paint mixing system MoonWalk has saved bodyshops more than 33,000 hours in its first year.
Since the official launch it has been installed in more than 25 countries across the globe.
Alban d’Epenoux, PPG Automotive Refinish CEMTA business director and MoonWalk project leader, said: “We are delighted to have reached this successful introduction and bringing some much value to our customers and partners particularly in this very challenging environment.”
He continued: “We estimate that over 33,000 hours of productive labour has been already saved and reinvested to create additional value for the bodyshop managers and owners. That’s even more critical and remarkable in this period of Covid-19 crisis which has reinforced the focus on productivity and cost savings.”
