Audatex offers image solution free to repairers

Audatex has today announced its mobile Bodyshop Image Capture (BIC) solution will be offered free of charge to all UK repairers from 1 May to 30 September 2020.

As the UK slowly begins to emerge from lockdown, and with social distancing continuing to have a huge impact on the way businesses operate, Audatex’s BIC solution will allow repairers to interact with customers in a digital-first, contactless way.

Audatex BIC is an intelligent web application, delivering smart images from the driver that give the repairer valuable insight into the vehicle’s condition before it arrives on site.

David Shepherd, regional managing director at Audatex’s parent company Solera, said: “As we start to emerge from lockdown, we expect to see a gradual increase in volumes across our market. We know the road to recovery will be far from easy for many of our customers. As we all need to adapt our working practises, to keep our team members and the public safe, we will be working in a new socially distanced, responsible way.

“We hope that by offering all our customers our Bodyshop Image Capture solution completely free of charge for the next five months, we are giving them the necessary tools and support needed to navigate through the next phase of this global crisis.”
