SEAT UK sales buck downward trend

On the back of strong global figures, SEAT UK has reported an 8.9% rise in sales in the country between January and September, despite a 2.5% decline in the wider market.

The brand has sold 54,995 units so far, with record September sales of 8,216.

The strong results continue following the successful launch of the all-new Tarraco seven-seater SUV, the CUPRA Ateca performance SUV, and with strong demand for the popular Arona compact SUV.

Richard Harrison, managing director of SEAT UK said, ‘It’s encouraging to see our growth momentum continue despite the market headwinds; it shows just how desirable our latest range of award-winning products are, and reflects the passion and enthusiasm of our retailer partners.’
