Fuel prices rise again

Fuel prices rose for the second month in a row in March, with unleaded increasing by 2p a litre and diesel rising 0.7p a litre.

That means drivers of unleaded vehicles are now paying on average
£67.22 to fill up compared to £66.31 four weeks ago while diesel drivers on average pay £71.87 for a full tank.

March was second successive month of rises on the forecourt, after three months of reductions.

The RAC has blamed rises on a weak pound and reduced supply from oil producers.
