Eco Balance saves 100,000km of CO2

Glasurit’s new Eco Balance product range has saved enough CO2 in six months since launch to drive around the world 2.6 times, or to travel 100,000km in a car.
The total saving to date is 13,709kg of CO2, which has been achieved since the products officially launched at the beginning of March.
Gavin Townsend, UK sales manager said, ‘Since launching the Eco Balance product range earlier this year we have been tracking the total UK CO2 saving. We are absolutely delighted to have saved over 13,000kg of CO2. In addition to this, we now also have over 80 certified Eco Balance bodyshops.
‘Over the last six months we have been shown repeatedly how committed our Glasurit customers are to becoming more sustainable, we are thrilled with the response to the Eco Balance launch.’
The BASF biomass balance approach is certified independently by TÜV SÜD.
