Dacia’s March to record figures

Dacia has recorded its best quarter one sales result ever, driven by an 86% rise in March.
According to figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, for the first three months of 2019 Dacia sales totalled 10,926 – up 52% in comparison with the same period in 2018.
It increased its retail market share to 2.69%, an increase of 1.2% on the same period in 2018.
Commenting on the performance, Ben Fletcher, head of Dacia UK, said, ‘Dacia is going from strength to strength. By providing the most affordable new cars on the market as well as our simple line-up and proven reliability the British public have really taken to Dacia’s no-nonsense approach to motoring.’
Since the brand’s launch in the UK in 2013, over 140,000 models have been sold.
