ACIS signs up with UKRN

ACIS has signed a national supply deal to distribute paint, consumables and added-value solutions to UK Repair Network’s (UKRN) approved bodyshops.

UKRN has exclusively contracted with ACIS to deliver AkzoNobel, BASF and PPG products to more than 300 bodyshops.

Adrian Parry, UK Repair Network’s chairman, said, ‘Transparency is one of the key factors of our business and ACIS has an approach that will deliver not only products, but greater efficiencies in terms of stock control, cost management and waste reduction – information that can be shared across our bodyshop network at the click of a mouse or the swipe of a tablet.’

Damon Curtis, business development director for ACIS, added, ‘UK Repair Network is on a mission to change the way claims handling is managed and we are delighted that ACIS’s solutions are now part of its corporate journey.

‘We share a lot of common objectives, not least to make the key-to-key experience as painless as possible while delivering better management information to help bodyshops help themselves in terms of improved volume and margin.’

Graham O’Neill, CEO of ACIS, said, ‘There has been something of a mini-revolution in the bodyshop sector with technology-driven consolidation and the need to work more collaboratively with their suppliers to deliver a better customer experience.

‘UKRN is at the vanguard of this revolution with an end-to-end proposition that works for the insurance industry and the end-user who feel valued and informed throughout the process and ultimately, get back on the road faster. This approach is symbiotic with the way ACIS works with its customers across the accident repair market.’
