Worthing dealership donates to hospice

The Worthing Suzuki dealership on Findon Road (BN14), has donated a brand-new Suzuki S-Cross crossover, worth nearly £18,000, to the local St Barnabas House hospice, a charity which provides palliative care to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses.

For the next six months, the car will be used by the organisation’s nurses when making home visits to patients across the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas. It will then be exchanged by the Suzuki dealer for another vehicle at no cost to St Barnabas House. The staff will benefit from nearly 900 litres of interior space to carry equipment, as well as combined fuel economy of up to 68 mpg, with low emissions to match, thereby making it an ideal addition to the hospice’s fleet.

Handing over the Suzuki S-Cross, Mark Davis, dealer principal at Worthing Suzuki, said, ‘We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause, and we are always looking to give back to the community. The St Barnabas House hospice is renowned for the work that it does to help others, and we are pleased that our contribution will assist the staff in the delivery of their outstanding service 365 days a year.’
