Charity event a huge success

bodyshop magazine was proud to be one of the sponsors of this year’s 2018 Spring Charity Ball, organised by Martyn Rowley (Audatex UK Limited) and Paul Glover (Morelli Group).

Both Paul and Martyn would like to say a huge thank you to all for those who attended and contributed to the 2018 Spring Charity Ball.

‘Without all your contributions it would be impossible for us to pull this event off,’ they said.

On the evening the fund pot stood at £13,250, which smashed expectations and will bring a much unexpected boost for its nominated charities AutoRaise and DEBRA, but thanks to subsequent support from Charles Liasides at Doughnut, who sent a donation of £250, and Paul Sykes at ControlExpert, who sent a £500 donation, the charity funds now stand at £14,000.

Both Paul and Martyn would also like to thank event sponsors Bridge Academy, entertainment sponsors Sandicliffe Motor Contracts, raffle and auction sponsors Gemini ARC Group, wine and golf sponsors Morelli Group, pre-dinner enter entertainment sponsor S&G Response, table raffle sponsor Autocraft Telford, and official photographer sponsor bodyshop magazine.

Meanwhile, table sponsors included Morelli Group, Sandicliffe, Audatex, Gemini, Bridge Academy, Hodson Ford, PJB Accident Repair Centre, S&G Repsonse, Autocraft Telford, AutoRaise, Upol, Velocity Motor Solutions, RS Motors, AW Group, BASF, Whaley Bridge, Fix Auto Oswestry, and Peggs ARC.

Paul and Martyn said, ‘Another huge thank you to those who donated prizes for both the raffle and auction, to Andy Johnson of the Morelli Group for his superb auctioneering skills which gave us this fantastic amount, Dave Reece for the building of the DEBRA presentation, PJB for their fantastic donation of £500 for the winners of the days Golf competition, Mark Bull for the weather…the list of all the people who helped contribute to what we feel has been a fantastic day and evening seems endless.’
