Activate Group secures ARIES standard across 13 sites
Activate Accident Repair has announced that all 13 of its sites are now fully compliant with Level 4 of ARIES.
ARIES (Accident Repair Industry Environmental Standard) is a UK industry-wide initiative designed to measure and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions within the vehicle accident repair sector. It has been developed to replace PAS 2060.
Activate Group has achieved the milestone after implementing a structured approach to sustainability, including reducing carbon emissions, managing energy use more effectively, and putting robust plans in place to address wider environmental impact.
These include investing in energy-efficient technology such as heat recycling ovens, working in partnership with LKQ Coatings to deliver training focused on energy-efficient repair methods, and reducing reliance on single use plastics.
Commitment
Danielle Chruszcz, chief marketing, people and sustainability officer, said: “This accreditation reflects not only the progress we’ve made, but our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and responsible business practices.
“ARIES is a positive step forward for our industry, and embedding the standard supports us in delivering meaningful, measurable progress as we strive to reduce our environmental impact.”
