LKQ Academy enhances electric vehicle and ADAS training

LKQ Academy and Valeo Service UK have announced a new partnership to deliver electric vehicle and ADAS training to workshops.

The collaboration aims to equip technicians with the skills to handle modern vehicles.

Training, which will take place through the through Valeo Tech Academy, will cover electrification, driver assistance systems and new powertrain technologies across all makes and vehicle architectures.

The first stage of training will include digital modules to build foundational knowledge, before technicians take part in regional hands-on sessions using real-world fault scenarios and advanced simulators. Follow up webinars will then reinforce learning once technicians are back in the workshop.
