Revive! Auto Innovations welcomes new talent
Revive! Auto Innovations recently held an Open Day to celebrate the climax of its national recruitment outreach campaign.
The event, held on 9 May, saw candidates from across the country attend the company’s IMI training academy to learn more about the skills required in the sector.
Led by training manager George Mullen, candidates were taken through several tasks and training sessions. These included how to use a spraygun, repairing a car panel, and a tour of a fully-equipped Revive! van.
Richard Graves, director of operations at Revive! UK, said: “This was not only a chance for the candidates to get to know the Revive! brand, but it also gave us the opportunity to get to know the candidates and their individual skills in a far less intensive environment than a professional job interview.
“This Open Day event is the culmination of our national recruitment campaign, during which we saw over 100 applications. In an industry that is trying to persevere through an ongoing technician and skills shortage this is an incredible achievement, and we aren’t looking to stop here.
“The industry is sorely in need of new talent and this recruitment campaign and Open Day at our state-of-the-art training facility has really highlighted the benefits of working with Revive! and the development opportunities from both a technical and career standpoint that Revive! can support you with.”
