CRG Diagnostics adopts Train to Gain for ADAS compliance

CRG Diagnostics has reported a 49% saving in assessment costs since adopting the Train to Gain programme developed by RWC Training.

The group, which has technicians across the UK providing mobile ADAS and diagnostic solutions, is using Train to Gain to manage the upskilling and BS 10125 compliance of its remote workforce.

The Train to Gain model allows technicians to be assessed on live jobs via video upload. This eliminates travel time, fuel costs and lost productivity.

The programme covers 23 technicians specialising in ADAS, with several also undertaking the specialised glazing unit to further diversify the group’s mobile service offering.

A game-changer

Justin Bown, managing director of CRG Diagnostics, said: “As a national mobile business, consistency and efficiency are at the heart of everything we do. The Train to Gain programme was the perfect fit for us because it removes the logistical headache of sending technicians to physical training centres.

“The ease of recertifying our team while they remain in the field is a game-changer. Achieving a 49% cost saving is a fantastic benefit, but the real value lies in the convenience and the high standard of training our technicians receive, ensuring we remain at the forefront of ADAS safety and compliance.”

Compliance

Matt Mardell, business development director for RWC Training, added: “For a national mobile specialist, the traditional model of accreditation is often prohibitively expensive and disruptive.

“By leveraging our remote-validation platform, CRG can ensure every technician, regardless of their location, meets the exact same high-level skill set. A 49% saving proves that high-quality, BS 10125 compliant training doesn’t have to break the bank – it just needs to be smarter.”
