Vehicle Remarketing Association announces data survey

A new survey on the value of data to the remarketing and retail sector is being launched by JATO Dynamics and the Vehicle Remarketing Association.

The joint insight document will cover areas including the negative implications data gaps have on businesses in terms of pricing, stock, profits, forecasting, and challenges towards electrification

The results of the survey will be published at the 2026 VRA Automotive Summit, which takes place at The Slate, Warwick University, on Wednesday 25 November

As a partner at the event, JATO head of retail Paul Hilton and Helen Fisk, head of product strategy, innovation, management and governance, will both deliver presentations.

Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said: “We’re delighted to have JATO Dynamics involved in the Summit this year. As an expert in automotive data, they bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to the event, something essential as the industry continues to navigate a rapidly changing market.

“The report we are jointly producing will provide an extensive look at the role of data within the industry, an area which is only increasing in relevance as digitalisation increases. The findings will be exclusively available to delegates, so we’d encourage anyone wanting access to the report to register now. Places are filling up fast and attendance is free.”
