Valeo Services UK meets demand for Chinese parts
Valeo Services UK has increased its range to provide workshops with more parts for Chinese vehicle manufacturers.
It has developed long-standing partnerships with brands such as Chery, GWM, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, MG, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota to offer a transmission portfolio covering 90% of the car parc.
Asian vehicle manufacturers accounted for 25% of new car sales in 2024-25, with growth increasing at a rate of about three per cent a year. This means repairers are seeing a growing number of Asian-made vehicles in their workshops.
Valeo’s Asian transmission offering now spans more than 1,900 part numbers, covering traditional clutch kits, hydraulic-bearing kits, dual mass flywheels, and dual dry and dual wet clutch systems. It supports high-volume models such as the Nissan Qashqai, Toyota RAV4, Corolla and Aygo, Hyundai Tucson, i20 and i30, Suzuki Swift, MG HS, and GWM Hover.
