Primrose Radar Calibration managing director Steve Meadowcroft has completed Ironman Bolton to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The challenge included a 1.2-mile swim, followed by a 56-mile bike ride and 13.1-mile run.
He finished the gruelling event in an incredible time of 6.03 hours to raise vital funds for the charity.
The cause is particularly personal to Meadowcroft after he was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago, but the same resilience and commitment that carried him through his diagnosis and recovery saw him overcome this huge test of endurance and determination.

Support
He said: “Macmillan Cancer Support helps people facing one of the toughest fights of their lives. Many of us have seen firsthand the impact cancer can have on individuals and families, and Macmillan is there every step of the way with practical, emotional, and financial support.
“If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean a lot.”
Meadowcroft has already exceeded his fundraising target, but is aiming to raise as much money as possible for the charity. Anyone wishing to donate can do so at his justgiving page.
