Solvd Group acquires PDR-Team Group to tackle hail damage
Digital claims and repair management specialist Solvd Group has acquired PDR-Team Group.
PDR-Team Group specialises in removing car body dents caused by severe weather like hailstorms without needing traditional body fillers or repainting.
Hailstorms are becoming more frequent due to climate change, with around 470,000 vehicles damaged by hailstones in 2023 causing £1.7bn in damage.
PDR-Team mobile repairers carry out repairs at the customer’s home or workplace within 48 hours.
Solvd Group was created by the Allianz Group to deliver digital claims settlements in one day. It now operates in 46 countries.
