Sales volumes hit sweet spot over Easter

BCA sells record number of EVs

BCA has reported that sales volumes around Easter were the highest on record, with more than 40,000 vehicles sold.

More than 3,000 electric vehicles were sold across the two-week Easter period, generating the highest first-time conversion rate of any fuel type, while the strength of the LCV sector continued with more than 4,200 sales.

Stuart Pearson, chief operating officer at BCA, said: “Recognising that real world pressures and cost-of-living concerns are impacting on retail demand for used vehicles, it is noteworthy that we recorded an exceptionally strong performance over the Easter period.

“BCA’s exclusive online sales programme allows our buyers to access stock when they need it, even if that is during times when traditional remarketing providers have not chosen to hold sales.

“With all BCA sales being digital, our professional buyers can stay on site and keep retailing while joining BCA’s online auctions to source stock.”
