Repairify backs Remote Service Supplier Community
Repairify has announced it has become a founding member of the newly established Remote Service Supplier Community.
The RSS Community, which is hosted by the European Federation representing independent automotive parts distributors, brings together leading providers of remote diagnostics, software programming, coding, calibration, and technical support services from across Europe.
It has been established to promote understanding of remote services in the safe repair of modern vehicles while advocating for a competitive and innovative independent aftermarket.
Repairify’s involvement reflects its long-standing commitment to helping workshops overcome the growing technical challenges associated with connected, electrified, and software-defined vehicles.

Phil Peace, managing director at Repairify, said: “Modern vehicle repair has fundamentally changed. Today’s vehicles increasingly rely on software and workshops are being asked to perform repairs that require specialist knowledge across multiple vehicle manufacturers.
“Remote services have evolved from being a convenient support tool into an essential part of the repair process. Every day, we help workshops access expertise that allows them to complete increasingly sophisticated repairs quickly and safely, regardless of their size or location.
“By helping establish the Remote Service Supplier Community, we’re highlighting the vital contribution remote service providers make to the independent aftermarket while helping ensure workshops can continue to access the tools, information, and technical support they need to repair the vehicles of today and tomorrow.”
