RampUp released to help repairers reap rewards of online bookings
A new solution called RampUp has been developed to help independent repairers to retain all profits from online bookings by bypassing commission-based platforms.
Garage Services Online has unveiled the widget as a standalone booking tool that connects customers directly with repairers.
It can act as a simple enquiry tool, sending email confirmations to front-of-house, or as a fully automated live booking system.
Meanwhile, integrated VRN lookup and intelligent filtering means customers are only presented with a menu of services suitable for their vehicle. This is delivered with no hidden costs, and RampUp includes unlimited VRN checks at no additional charge.
The solution also offers an alternative to the ‘pay-per-lead’ booking model as the widget integrates directly into an existing website, allowing workshops to retain 100% of the margin.
Real-time booking
George Phillips, operations director at Garage Services Online, said: “While many independent garages have established a web presence, few have had access to the sophisticated, real-time booking capabilities used by national fast-fit and dealership networks, until now.
Jim Lang, director at Garage Services Online, added: “We are seeing a definitive shift in the market. Independent garage owners are realising that while they may have the skills, tools and expertise, they have often lagged behind in the digital customer journey.
“RampUp closes that gap, but it does so on the garage’s terms. It’s about giving independents the digital firepower to compete, without disrupting what makes their business work.”
