Precision Repair Group launches to unite independent repairers

Victoria Turner ("Vic"), CEO, Precision Repair Group (PRG)

Precision Repair Group (PRG), a new UK national accident repair group, is today officially launching its vision to bring together leading independent bodyshops to create a strong customer, service and expert-led repair offering.

PRG began its journey with investments in five established founding businesses, blending multi-location operations and large-scale single-site operators to create a  footprint from Harrogate to Manchester and from Nottingham to London.

Precision Repair Group launches vision

In 2025, Alton Cars, Hilton Coachworks, Turners Accident Repair, which recently secured funding from Sun European Partners, HB Accident Repair Network and Fast Track ARC – each recognised for high-quality workmanship and trusted customer relationships – became part of the group. These investments formed the foundations of PRG’s Mainstream business unit, alongside its Prestige business through Hilton.

The addition of Diamond Spraying (DSL) is the group’s first investment in its Commercial business unit. The founding principle remains the same, to invest in strong businesses and retain leadership for the future. Further investments will follow in the coming months, forming the basis of the group’s market offering to commercial fleet customers.

Paul Hakin, managing director of DSL said: “Becoming the first Commercial bodyshop within PRG is very exciting. I am extremely proud to lead the group’s first investment in the commercial fleet repair space. I joined the group because I believe I can play a part in building an offering that is genuinely different in the commercial market, with a strong focus on vehicle off road time, price, and service.

“We will be able to lean on all parts of the group to support our customers nationwide, which I see as a huge benefit. The team that [PRG’s CEO] Victoria Turner has put together is exceptional and, more importantly, we are all one team with the same focus: providing something different for the market to benefit from.”

Precision Repair Group enters the market with a commitment to building a repair organisation focused on partnership and quality. Businesses joining PRG retain their brand, leadership and long-standing customer relationships, while gaining access to group-level expertise, investment and procurement benefits. This approach allows the group to support growth while preserving the strengths that have made each repairer successful.

The UK accident repair market is undergoing significant change, with insurers, accident management companies, fleets and OEMs increasingly looking for partners who can provide reliable capacity, high levels of capability led investment and consistently high customer service standards.

PRG has been established to meet this need, creating a collaborative repair proposition  spanning mainstream repair, prestige and super-prestige capability as well as commercial and fleet repair services. The group’s structure ensures business as usual for customers from day one, while enabling further improvements in capability and consistency over time.

Outstanding service

Vic Turner, group chief executive officer of Precision Repair Group, said: “I’ve been talking about the PRG vision with many people in the market, and I’m really excited about what we can achieve with our partners over the next few years. Today marks the official launch of a repair group with a difference, one built on genuine partnership. We have been building a strong group team, blending deep industry experience with expertise in building successful companies and cultures.

“We are bringing together some of the best independent businesses, all of which already deliver outstanding service, and providing them with the support and investment to go further. Our focus is on protecting what makes each business special while building capability across the group.

“Following key investments in our Mainstream and Prestige business units in 2025, I’m also excited to enter the new year by announcing the start of our ambition to build a Commercial Fleet offering, and welcome Paul and the DSL team to the Group. We believe there are clear opportunities to work in partnership with customers in this space and create a service focused on minimising vehicle off-road time,” she said.
