New co-branded Steer Derby Admiral bodyshop now open

Steer Derby Admiral launch

Steer Automotive Group, the UK’s largest vehicle repair group, and Admiral Insurance, one of the UK’s leading automotive insurers, have collaborated to launch their second co-branded repair location – Steer Derby Admiral.

The launch of Steer Derby Admiral, which follows the February launch of a Steer-Admiral site in Glasgow, saw the conversion and rebranding of the existing Steer Prestige Derby location, providing Admiral policyholders with a dedicated repair solution covering the wider Derbyshire area.

Experienced team

The Steer team on site will work closely with the Admiral team to continue to deliver excellent service specifically to Admiral customers, to deliver a more seamless end-to-end repair experience.

James Dunn, divisional managing director at Steer, said: “The Derby team is committed to delivering a great customer experience through clear communication and a rapid key to key time.

“Co-branding this site to provide dedicated capacity to Admiral policyholders means that we can cater these processes to integrate with Admirals’ in a meaningful way, which will further remove friction and provide customers with an industry leading repair experience.

“Derby is a leading contributor to Steer’s wider sustainability and ESG credentials, through its commitment to sustainable practices throughout the repair journey. This included significant investment in repair innovation training and technology which sees less waste produced throughout the repair process, such as repairing plastic wherever possible.

“Operating co-branded locations such as Steer Derby Admiral has also provided opportunities for both Steer and Admiral to mutually progress ESG initiatives, with Derby investing in the future of the industry through the recruitment of two Apprentice technicians that are part of the Steer Academy.”
