Motorvate initiative nominated for Legacy award

Automechanika Birmingham has announced that its Motorvate initiative has been shortlisted for the Legacy & Impact Award at the Exhibition News Awards.

The Legacy & Impact Award recognises events that support industry growth and deliver lasting impact beyond commercial returns.

Motorvate was launched at Automechanika Birmingham 2025 to link students with employers, training providers and industry leaders in the automotive aftermarket. Through hands-on experiences, career guidance and live panel discussions, the initiative highlights routes into the automotive aftermarket and showcases its varied career opportunities.

Motorvate will return to Automechanika Birmingham’s sister show, the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, at the NEC, Birmingham, from 3-4 June. Click here to get your free UKGBE 2026 tickets and go here to register for Bodyshop Magazine’s BODYSHOP BUZZ party, powered by Core Diagnostics.

Knowles concluded:

“Automechanika Birmingham has always been about more than just showcasing products and technology; it’s about supporting the long-term health and growth of the aftermarket. Motorvate demonstrates the powerful role trade shows can play in shaping the future of an industry.”
