Mazda expands service plan to boost workshop volumes
Mazda has announced it has expanded its service plan to include out of warranty models.
The move is designed to boost the volume of cars serviced across its network by attracting owners of older vehicles who do not currently use Mazda’s dealer network for servicing.
The new Mazda Service Plan is available to customers buying all new cars and approved used models from Mazda dealers.
Meanwhile, current Mazda drivers can also buy its service plans on the company’s website.
Mazda Motors UK director of customer service and aftersales David Wilson-Green said: “Service plans have long enabled car buyers to fix the cost of scheduled servicing. Our latest plan extends that benefit to thousands of owners of older models, giving them access to Mazda-trained technicians in Mazda workshops.”
He continued: “Affordability is key to the success of this programme which is why we have ensured that owners of older cars are included and benefit from competitive labour rates. Typically, these customers will be using independent garages and fast-fit centres, so we see this as a valuable way for Mazda dealers to build long term lasting relationships for both servicing work and future car sales.”
