Mark Pain to lead VWFS change programme

Volkswagen Financial Services UK has named Mark Pain as product and change delivery director.

The appointment is intended to accelerate the company’s customer and product transformation programme.

Pain has been with Volkswagen Financial Services since 2010, having held senior leadership roles across IT, digital and business change.

In his newly expanded role, he will be supported by Steve Charters as head of ways of working, and Katie Warrington and Jack Baker as heads of product delivery.

Pain said: “This role presents a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the focus on delivering the outcomes that matter most to our customers. That means managing change effectively across a diverse portfolio of large programmes and taking a strategic, joined-up approach, so we are constantly thinking about the impact on our customers and partners of any change we deliver.

“The creation of a single, aligned leadership structure, supported by a highly experienced team, will help us continuously improve the way we work, set clearer priorities and strengthen collaboration across this critical area of the business.”

Dan James, chief digital officer at VWFS UK and chief executive of VWFS Digital Solutions, added:

“Mark’s appointment brings the leadership and clarity we need to accelerate our customer and product transformation. I’m confident his leadership will drive real progress for our customers, our business and our network partners.”
