Kevan Wooden resigns as LKQ UK & Ireland CEO

Kevan Wooden is stepping down as CEO of LKQ UK & Ireland, with vice president of human resources Dave Brookfield stepping up on an interim basis.

Wooden joined LKQ UK & Ireland as chief commercial officer in 2019 before becoming CEO in 2023.

Brookfield brings almost two decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket to the role, having joined LKQ 16 years ago.

Andy Hamilton, president and executive managing director of LKQ Europe, said: “I’d like to thank Kevan for all that he’s done with us over the last seven years. He made a significant contribution to raising customer and colleague standards and reinforced our leadership positions across the key accounts, garage concepts, workshop solutions and bodyshop markets.

“He drove our digital leadership forward and oversaw the integration of our HGV and leisure and marine businesses into a consolidated group of unparalleled reach and scale. We all wish him well for the future.”

Growth

He continued: “David was integral to the growth of our UK & Ireland business during my tenure as CEO. He understands its customers and the local market dynamics.

“Coupled with his intimate knowledge of our people, culture and operations, it makes him exactly the right person to lead the business through this transition.”
